Music Theatre
 Music Theatre is one of the most loved and revered of all genres. Athena proudly runs a class for five to eight year olds on Saturday mornings. The class is so much fun, with everyone participating in drama activities and games, culminating in a short production at the end of each term. The class is also excellent for self-confidence and personality development. Places fill VERY fast and numbers are strictly limited so register your interest today. We are also currently canvassing interest for groups for children eight and above, through to young adults. These classes would be taught by our experienced teachers and would culminate in full scale musicals.  Through drama you can become anyone, anywhere, at anytime. By understanding drama you can learn to understand anyone, anywhere anytime. Play is an essential part of our childhood, and we should never lose the art of make-believe. Athena is proud to offer drama classes for all age groups. The lessons develop confidence, self-esteem, communication skills and social skills. Each lesson is carefully planned and includes introductory activities, speech, drama, creative movement, poetry, language development, improvisation, mime, scene starters and mini-scripts. Above all, our drama classes are fun!  Building on the skills learned in group drama classes, private lessons mold the personality and build character in every child. The classes are great for developing a love for literature and books, public speaking, performance, acting and so much more. Lessons are fun and beneficial to developing a confident and engaged child. Options to sit Speech and Drama exam syllabi are available for those wishing to pursue serious study.
